Memory Care Activities at The Woodlands

MCActivities_7.jpg

At The Woodlands, our activities programming for residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia is designed to engage residents through various aspects of daily living.

Our Activities Director has extensive training by the Massachusetts Alzheimer’s Association and is responsible for providing engaging activities that add structure to our daily routine.

Daily activities encourage cognitive, emotional, and spiritual engagement, as well as connection through all five senses and utilization of physical/fine motor skills. Memory care programming focuses on familiar activities and tasks personalized to meet our residents’ histories, interests, and abilities.
