Specialized Memory Care
Placing your loved one in memory care can be a difficult decision. Perhaps the following features of our Woodlands Program will help when making your selection.

Limited nurse administration of medications (LMA). All medications are administered solely by a licensed nurse during the hours of 8 am and 10 pm, 7 days a week.

A Program Director, (licensed nurse,) with extensive training by the Massachusetts Alzheimer's Association, is responsible for the operation of the unit.

An Activities Director, trained by The Massachusetts Alzheimer's Association, is responsible for providing enriching, structured and stimulating activities daily.

Physician available monthly to see patients who contract his services. Psychiatric counseling services available.
Podiatrist available bi-monthly.

Contracted Agencies for on-site rehabilitation services (Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy), usually covered by Medicare Part B and most major insurance providers.

Secure home-like environment with emergency call system and alarms at all exits.

Private rooms with private baths or private rooms with shared baths. Services include daily housekeeping, including laundry and fresh linens.

Private dining room and selective meals with two entree choices for each meal. Separate activities lounge.

Focus on integrating Woodlands residents with Grove activities, when possible - weekly dinners, music programs and special events.
