Limited Medication Administration (LMA) This program is required for residents who are not capable of taking their own medications without the assistance of a nurse. A licensed nurse administers the resident's medications according to the doctor's orders, re-orders when the supply is low, monitors any adverse reactions and communicates any concerns to the doctor and family. Grove Manor Estates strictly adheres to the regulations of the State of Massachusetts for the administration of medications by licensed nurses to its residents. Grove Manor Estates provides licensed nursing services to residents requiring LMA during the hours of 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, seven days a week. In addition, a licensed nurse is also on-call between the hours of 10:00 pm and 8:00 am to administer any resident medication on an as- needed basis.
